Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. After achieving fame through his role on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow He was featured in over 20 feature movies including The Core. Also, he's appeared on 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order and Law & Order, among other. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma and diagnosed with when he was 14 years old. Qualls is an avid fighter. After two years of treatment the cancer was cured. Being treated at such a young stage had a negative effect on his body. This impeded his growth. As he began to make decisions, financial security seemed like his ultimate objective. He had been in poverty throughout his childhood. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle for so long I have to have that financial security or else the world seems beyond my control, he stated in an interview. He also reflects on his youth and hopes to do something about the problem of bullying. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. On and off film, DJ's character would love to play a father. The director admits that they don't want to cast him in these role. It would be wonderful to be one day a parent himself, when you can spend much less time working and dedicate it to his child.
